Attending Athletic Events at Mynderse Academy

Per NYS Department of Health guidance, players, coaches, officials, event personnel, and only two spectators per player are allowed for contests. Seneca Falls Central School, in conjunction with the Finger Lakes High School Athletic Association, and Section V have developed procedures to assure that only two spectators per player are in attendance. These procedures will be communicated through coaches and are outlined below. The two spectators per player will be strictly enforced.

* Practices and games are not open to the general public.

** In order to alleviate the burden on families and friends of not being able to attend games, the district is
considering live streaming more contests than a typical year.

Attending Events at Bracht Field

  • Spectators will park in the student/staff parking lot or the bus loop and proceed to the entrance on the west side of the field. The entrance will be clearly marked. All spectators must wear acceptable face coverings while entering the stadium and any time that individuals cannot maintain social distancing.

  • The two spectators per athlete, will check in at the entrance table while maintaining social distancing. Spectators who are on the list will be allowed entrance to the stadium. The names of these two spectators are provided prior to the event by the athlete to the coach. If your name is not on the list you will not be allowed to enter the stadium. Spectators who are admitted must sit in the bleachers maintaining a 6 foot distance.

  • Following the game, spectators will exit the stadium and return to the parking lot on the north side of the stadium. The exit will be clearly marked. All spectators must wear acceptable face coverings while exiting the stadium and any time that individuals cannot maintain social distancing.

Attending Events at the North Field 

  • Spectators will park in the parking lot north of the building or the faculty parking lot and proceed to the entrance on the north side of the field. The entrance will be clearly marked. All spectators must wear acceptable face coverings while entering the stadium and any time that individuals cannot maintain social distancing.

  • The two spectators per athlete, will check in at the entrance table while maintaining social distancing. Spectators who are on the list will be allowed to enter the spectator viewing area. The names of these two spectators are provided prior to the event by the athlete to the coach. If your name is not on the list you will not be allowed to enter the spectator viewing area. 

  • Spectators who are on the list are encouraged to sit in the bleachers or the east side of the field. You may also sit in your lawn chair but must maintain 6 feet apart from the next person. No spectator is allowed on the side of the field where the teams are.

  • Following the game spectators will exit the spectator viewing area and return to the parking lot. All spectators must wear acceptable face coverings while entering the field and any time that individuals cannot maintain social distancing.


Attending Events at the Modified Track & Field

  • Spectators may park in the parking lot north of the High School. An event staff person will allow the 2 spectators on the list to proceed to the bleachers or if preferred to stand by the fence surrounding the track but must maintain social distancing and wear a mask if within 6 feet of others. Spectators on the list may also park in the Middle School Gym parking lot and proceed to the entrance on the bleacher area where an event supervisor will check the two spectators on the student’s list. All spectators must wear acceptable face coverings while entering the stadium and any time that individuals cannot maintain social distancing. If your name is not on the list you will not be allowed to enter the spectator viewing area. 

  • Spectators who are on the list are encouraged to sit in the bleachers along the fence around the track. You may also sit in your lawn chair but must maintain 6 feet apart from the next person.

  • Following the game spectators will exit the spectator viewing area and return to the parking lot on the south side of the field. The exit will be clearly marked. All spectators must wear acceptable face coverings while entering the field and any time that individuals cannot maintain social distancing.


Attending Cross Country Events

  • Spectators will be directed to park in the lots at Cayuga Lake State Park. 

  • Spectators who are not on the list are not allowed to congregate near the start/finish line or the staging area. If your name is not on the list you will be asked to leave. 

  • All spectators must wear acceptable face coverings while in the spectator viewing area and any time that individuals cannot maintain social distancing.

  • Following the meet spectators will exit the spectator viewing area and return to the parking lot. All spectators must wear acceptable face coverings while entering the spectator viewing area and any time that individuals cannot maintain social distancing.
