Mynderse Academy Exam Week is January 21-24
Mynderse Academy will have Midterm and Regents Exams during the week of January 21-24 (Tuesday-Friday). There is no school districtwide on Monday, January 20 due to the Martin Luther King Jr Holiday.
High school students are required to be in school only when they are taking an exam and can leave after their last exam for the day. However, any students who are either waiting for an exam, or for a ride/the bus, must report to the high school auditorium as students are not allowed to be in the halls during testing. Buses will run on their normal schedule each day, including a 10th period bus run and and 11th period bus run. There will be no BOCES for the week.
Breakfast will be served in the high school cafeteria only until 7:40 AM each day during exam week, but the Middle School vendiing machines will have breakfast food available. Lunch will be available in the Middle School Cafeteria each day from 10:40 until 12:40.
If your student becomes too ill to come to school on the day of an exam, please call the Mynderse Academy Main Office to let them know. (315-568-5500, ext. 1158 or ext 1133). Regents exams will be offered each day as per the New York State schedule (see below) and cannot be made up. However, if the weather becomes inclement and school must close, the Regents exam (and other midterms) will be offered the next day that school can open. If this situation should arise, we will keep you updated here on our website.
Please have your student dress comfortably and bring the necessary items for their exams (ie. calculators, pens with blue or black ink only, and pencils for certain exams). No cell phones or smart watches are allowed in the testing room with students, so please remind your student to either keep them at home or in their locker for the day.
Review classes are available to help students prepare for exams. Please see the schedule below.
