June 25, 2019

Dear Seneca Falls CSD Parents/Guardians & Students,

Please accept my congratulations on the successful completion of another school year.  The ability for SFCSD administrators, faculty, and staff members to work with all of you throughout this past year has enabled students to experience success and be ready to continue their educational journey next year.

Special congratulations to the Mynderse Academy Class of 2019 graduates and all the students that are moving from one school to another.

During the past year, SFCSD faculty and staff continued to increase opportunities for students to be engaged and empowered learners.  The ability to “learn by doing” and “making choices about learning” continues to prepare students for the future and set a foundation towards being a lifelong learner.  SFCSD faculty and staff members continued to work hard “to educate the whole child”, allowing all to be responsive and alert to not only academic needs, but social and emotional needs, of all learners.  SFCSD faculty and staff members also continue to take great pride in our partnerships with the community and region, as we believe that learning occurs inside and outside of classrooms.  SFCSD administrators, faculty, and staff will continue to build on these points of emphasis as we look forward to next school year.

Finally, please accept my personal thanks for the ability to work with all of you to provide a quality education to all SFCSD students.  Serving as Seneca Falls CSD Superintendent has been the honor and privilege of a lifetime.  Having had the ability to serve in the Superintendent’s role in this school district and this town, with thoughtful, caring, and supportive parents, guardians, and students, has made it even that much more special.  Thank you.
