Reading teachers attend as many of the Parent/Teacher Conferences in Fall and Spring that they can fit in their schedule. Parents are given their contact information in their acceptance to Title 1 paperwork, as well as in our Title 1 Meeting in October.  At the Parent/Teacher conferences in December and March, parents are given the opportunity to set up another meeting to further discuss their child’s program, if needed.  Progress reports are given to parents at that time.

Reading teachers at Cady Stanton attend as many Parent/Teacher Conferences as possible in the Fall and Spring. Formal progress reports are given to parents at that time. Parents are given contact information with the initial note that tells parents that their child will be receiving reading services. Parents are also given contact information again during the Parent Meeting.

In lieu of Parent/Teacher Conferences, the reading teachers are available on an as needed basis for parent meetings. Parents/guardians are given contact information in their acceptance to Title 1 paperwork and also on the classroom expectations which were made available to students and parents/guardians at the beginning of the school year. Progress reports are given in fall, winter and spring. In the progress reports parents/guardians are encouraged to reach out regarding any questions or concerns about student progress.
