Seneca Falls Central School District Board of Education
Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES Board of Education
Seneca County Chamber of Commerce Member
My wife Karen and I have lived in the Seneca Falls Central School District for over 25 years. Karen is a retired Library Media Specialist and Bryan and Tyler were educated in the district.
As a current board member it is my responsibility to ensure that the school district establishes sound policies and effective goals for improvement, develops fiscally responsible budgets, and provides the highest quality education possible for our students. I have been actively involved with the school district as a Board of Education member for twelve years, and am currently serving my third term on the Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES Board of Education. I regularly meet with governmental officials at the regional, state, and federal levels to advocate for financial support for our school district. I also attend state and regional board member leadership training sessions and I have represented the school district community at regional meetings focused on developing collaborative opportunities. I currently contribute to the Board Policy Committee and serve on the Board Health Committee. I believe our district’s current stability in the midst of a financially trying time in New York is a direct reflection of the effectiveness of the community, board, administration, faculty, and staff in collaboratively meeting the challenges we face. I would appreciate the opportunity to continue my work with the school board as we move the district forward.
