Workers are getting the foundation forms ready to pour concrete for the small Stanton Elementary controlled entryway.

Workers are preparing the forms for the concrete foundation of the Stanton Controlled entryway.
New steel beam being installed at Stanton Elementary. The new beam will support white beams that were previously supported by a block wall (which has been removed).
New walls will be constructed outside of the red lines. This will create a new hallway path for students & staff, around the offices, at Stanton.
Foundation forms are ready for concrete at Stanton. This area will be the new controlled entry passage for the school.

The dark gray beam in this photo is new. It will support the white beams at Stanton that were supported by a black wall that has been demoed. This area will be the new Stanton Office.
It’s hard to visualize, but the yellow arrows show the new hallway around the new Stanton Office. This area will be cleaned before school opens. Work will continue on the new office after school re-opens. Students will be separated from all construction work.

The wall separating the Stanton Office from the hallway has been demoed. The brick and block wall seen on the left will also be removed to make room for the new office location at Stanton.
Workers are erecting temporary supports to the steel I beams. After the temporary wall is in place, the bearing wall, marked with an X, will be removed. This wall needs to be removed to make space for the relocation of the Stanton Office.
