    The Seneca Falls Central School District (“District”) is committed to complying with the provisions of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 with regard to its website (including all subordinate pages and intranet sites but not including third party vendor web pages that the District does not control). This commitment exists so that students, parents, and members of the public with disabilities are able to independently acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same benefits and services as those without disabilities, with equivalent ease of use.

    The district is in the process of transitioning its website to a more accessible format and will make every attempt to comply with the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA and the Web Accessibility Initiative’s Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) 1.1. These standards help make a website easier to navigate for people experiencing vision problems, dexterity issues, hearing limitations, and/or other neurocognitive barriers.  The District’s website auditor will review the District’s website and evaluate its accessibility on a periodic basis.

    As the Seneca Falls Central School District works to make its website accessible, there may be items such as PDF files on the site that need further remediation. However, we will work with any individual with a disability to provide a web document or information in an alternative format.
